Truth is, …Truth Is Not That Great

We have all heard about the undercover videos of Planned Parenthood executives, sipping wine and nibbling croissants while at the same time jovially discussing the sale of baby body parts (gonads, brains, liver, etc.) and haggling over costs.

The self-proclaimed “progressives” in the land have heard, but they have chosen not to see.

Instead, they have hunkered down in the dark and foggy corners of their own self-imposed ignore-ance and “felt needs”, choosing to believe that the videos set plainly before their eyes (and ears and hearts) just simply aren’t true.

Running from the light of truth is nothing new, of course, but when an entire culture adopts such an attitude of willful blindness and resorts to the nihilistic bliss of evasive action, trouble….big, bad trouble…WILL eventually come knocking on the door.

Light has a way of overcoming the darkness, after all.
Truth will out.
(And when it finally does, it often isn’t pretty.)

The light comes on....

“When the Allied forces liberated the concentration camps of the Nazi regime, General Dwight D. Eisenhower ordered the ordinary German citizens of nearby towns and villages to walk through the camps and to see what they had allowed and facilitated. Eisenhower’s point was all too clear — you allowed this to happen, and you share the guilt. So it is with all Americans. Planned Parenthood and the abortion industrial complex are funded with our tax dollars.”
—Albert Mohler

Truth is, …Truth Is Not That Great

Can’t you see, that’s not a “baby”!
THAT, my friend’s, an “entity”.
So, please disregard that heartbeat,
Just pretend you didn’t see.

Base what’s real on your emotions,
And I’ll base what’s real on mine.
Truth just isn’t that important,
In this Day of Feelin’ Fine.

Cheer up! …We’re just here to help you
Navigate post-modern straits.
“Do your own thing!”…That’s the ticket!
Truth is,… truth is not that great.

If you can’t quite see this clearly,
Put these carnal glasses on….
There!...Voila!.... A new agenda!
Welcome to New Babylon!

Over there, meet Mr. Molech...
(He's the one with bloody hands.)
Next to him, that's Mother Ashtar
(She's the one on sinking sands.)

O, look there!...In that dark corner,
That’s the ghost of Nietzsche, friend…
He’s just mopping up the mayhem,
That progressives all defend.

“A nation that will allow this, will allow anything.”
—Albert Mohler

Lord, we need your Grace so badly,
Grace to recognize what’s true.
Help us to confront this darkness,
And confess this sin to You.

Help us see how far we’ve fallen,
Help us see our bloody hands..
Take us to the Cross of Calv’ry,
Give us Grace to understand.

“This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.”
(John 3: 19-21)
