“O sad-faced mourners, who each day are wending
Through churchyard paths of cypress and of yew,
Leave for today the low graves you are tending,
And lift your eyes to God's eternal blue.”
---May Riley Smith

“Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.”
---Helen Lemmel

“Lift Our Gaze To Paradise”

Christ invites us to the water...
Where He tells us ,”Touch the sky.”
“Follow Me, The Resurrection.”
“Follow Me....
Come soar and fly!.”

Now the world grows strangely dimmer.
Sunset in The Shadowland.
Seek the Light that shines forever.
Touch his side, his feet, his hands.

From the cloud The Bridegroom beckons,
Calling every Thirsty Soul.
Crystal River, Living Water,
Shepherd, lead us to Your Fold.

Help us hear your invitation,
Give us Grace to see the Dawn.
Quiet water...Sweet reflection...
Heaven....on and on and on.....

Help us read your invitation,
Help us see through Satan's lies.
Give us Vision, heal the blindness....
Lift our gaze to Paradise.

Love's redeeming work is done. Alleluia!
Fought the fight, the battle won. Alleluia!
Death in vain forbids Him rise. Alleluia!
Christ has opened paradise. Alleluia!

Soar we now where Christ has led. Alleluia!
Following our exalted head. Alleluia!
Made like Him, like Him we rise. Alleluia!
Ours the cross, the grave the skies. Alleluia!
---Charles Wesley
