"...the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate....For the foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom..."
(1Corinthians 1: 19....25)

"[Naturalism's scientists]...are brilliant thinkers blinded by spiritual cataracts, left groping for answers by the spiritual myopia that human pride afflicts...In our refusal to meet God at the foundation of existence, our spiritual cataracts will have us stumble to calamity in a wanton quest for mastery."
-James Gill

"It is time to rise above the superstitious delusions of materialistic scientism. What is needed is relentless, humble, hard-nosed, rational thinking about, for instance, the soul."
-Fr. Richard John Neuhaus

"In the beginning, God...." (Genesis 1:1...)

As a Christian, I understand the opening verse of the Bible to mean that The Creator of all that is (and ever will be) has always been. The Creator God is the Bedrock and Foundation of all existence, the I AM THAT I AM.. He is the uncaused Cause, the Logos, the Thought and Mind and Reason behind all space and time and matter. The Self-existant unchanging Reality and the true Truth.

The ultimate Bottom Line.

Most of today's scientific community readily admit that life's appearing in the universe on its own through "natural processes" is tantamount to a miracle (though most scientists are quite loathe to use the term). It has occurred to me that the best explanation that the natural sciences have been able to come up with for the existence of life and what we see around us, is that all of "this" somehow originated out of a dark, mindless and empty vacuum of some sort. Their "scientific" explanation(s) for this Something-Out-of-Nothing-and-Nowhere scenario has forced them to entertain the notion... or, perhaps, the delusion....that what they intuitively know to be impossible is... (gulp)...evidently possible after all! Or, to put it another way, they have willfully acquiesced and bowed to the prevailing default "scientific"position that Nothing is really something. (And now they are out to prove it!)

In order to side-step the possibility of the existence of God the Logos, many in the science community have stepped across the threshold of legitimate science fact into the arena of Science Fiction. The conundrum they are faced with there,.... since they insist there can be no "God".... has produced a virtual cottage industry of Metaphysical Vain Imaginings where hypothetical quarks and gluons interact in Imaginary Time in Black Holes of Anti-Matter and "zero volume singularities". In order to make it somehow statistically possible for life in the universe to have actually burst onto the scene from Nothing and for No Reason, these high-tech Shamans have conjured up the loveable "Fuzzball" notion of endless "String-Theory Multiverses".("You see," they tell us with a straight face, "there really must be several gazillion universes 'out there'... so that statistically, we are bound to be here!" ) Like Alice disappearing down the rabbit-hole into a Wonderland of fantasy, the new age High Priests of Scientism have conjured up and promoted their own government-funded Faith-Based Initiative where no purposeful designing Deity is allowed to exist... under penalty of law. And so, clever proselytes of empty, outer darkness... (some of whom ironically call themselves "The Brights")... have proudly added yet another oh-so-predictable story to that ancient Tower of Babel, mankind's monument to Self.

"Alice laughed. "There's no use trying," she said: "one can't believe impossible things."
"I daresay you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half-an-hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." --Through the Looking Glass ("The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland" )

Just Believe It...Just Because

Let us thank pure Human Reason.....
There's no "god" that we should fear.
Lofty Intellects inform us:
"Out of Nothing we appeared!"

We're just thankful we've discovered
That the "Good-Book-God" has died...
Dead 'n' buried by Saints Darwin,
Dawkins, Hawking...

Yes, by Jove, we sing...."Hosannah!"
Waving palm leaves as we shout...
"We're confessing! "We're progressing! "
"There's no "god"!.... There is no doubt!"

We've got Black Hole Anti-Matter,
In a Multiverses Stew.
We've got theories...Dime-a-Dozen.
We believe 'em....You should, too!

We've got faith in Cosmic Fuzzballs
In Imaginary Time,
Causing "Hawking Radiation"
No one yet can really find.

We've got quirky quarks and gluons
Phantom Boson...Leptons, too!
And by Science Magik.....PRESTO!
They evolved to Me and You!

Science Priests now proudly tell us
That 'I AM' just never was.
His Replacement?...Outer Darkness.
Just believe it....
Just because.

Hi-Q Priests at last confirm it!
PhD's...The Oh-So-Smart!
Riding High they look down on us
From The Horse behind the cart.

Iv'ry Tower Tales a-spinning...
(One more time...The Ancient Con.)
You can hear that Same ol' Sermon...
As it Babels on and on!.

Faith in Science now can save us...
That "First Cause"?....A Mindless Gas!
In its image Man is fashioned!
That explains it!....
"Truth at last!"

"Human Intellect's triumphant!"
Say The High 'n' Mighty Pleased...
"No more bowing at the altar!"...
"Now that Abba's on his knees"

Virgin birth and resurrection?
"Just can't be!" the High Priests laugh...
Talk of Sin just makes 'em snicker
Dancing 'round their Golden Calf.

And so, on the Plains of Shinar
Modern "Brights" construct their throne
There defying and denying
The true Light that's always shone.

"When it comes to the origin of life on the earth, there are only two possibilities: creation and spontaneous generation. There is no third way. Spontaneous generation was disproved one hundred years ago. But that leads us to only one other conclusion; that of supernatural creation. We cannot accept that on philosophical grounds, therefore we choose to believe the impossible: that life arose spontaneously by chance."
-George Wald (research scientist/Nobel Prize winner)
