“This is what the LORD Almighty says:
‘Is there no longer wisdom in Teman?
Has counsel perished from the prudent?
Has their wisdom decayed?’”

—(Jeremiah 49: 7)

“New Physics Complications Lend Support to Multiverse Hypothesis”

Dr. Nima Arkani-Hamed

Decades of confounding experiments have physicists considering a startling possibility: The universe might not make sense

“On an overcast afternoon in late April, physics professors and students crowded into a wood-paneled lecture hall at Columbia University for a talk by Nima Arkani-Hamed, a high-profile theorist visiting from the Institute for Advanced Study in nearby Princeton, N.J. With his dark, shoulder-length hair shoved behind his ears, Arkani-Hamed laid out the dual, seemingly contradictory implications of recent experimental results at the Large Hadron Collider in Europe.

’The universe is inevitable,’ he declared. ’The universe is impossible.’ — from story by Natalie Wolchover, Scientific American, June 1, 2013

Hmmmm….“seemingly” contradictory implications?....Well, GLORY!...Welcome to Neverland where common sense is gobbled up by the New Age Nonsense Gospel of Fundamentalist Scientism, the fashionable “go to” religion of the present “progressive” age.

Isaiah, Sistine Chapel, Michaelangelo

While the Hadron Revelation of Prophet Arkani- Hamed may have been something new and surprising to many of the fearless fundamentalist followers of The Most High-Tech, I’m pretty sure that the Jewish Prophet Isaiah would not have been particularly surprised…..

“…I will astound these people with wonder upon wonder; the wisdom of the wise will perish, the intelligence of the intelligent will vanish…” (Isaiah 29: 14)

… nor would Solomon have been shocked…..

“…Meaningless! Meaningless! Everything is meaningless!” [When God is removed from the equation of reality] —(Ecclesiastes 1: 2)

…nor the Psalmist dismayed….

“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom….” (Psalm 111: 10)

All of this reminds me of the prescient words that astronomer/ physicist Robert Jastrow spoke some years ago:

"For the scientist who has lived by his faith in the power of reason, the story ends like a bad dream. He has scaled the mountain of ignorance; he is about to conquer the highest peak; as he pulls himself over the final rock, he is greeted by a band of theologians who have been sitting there for centuries."

We Adore Our Humanism
(It’s The Faith We’ve Come Love)

In this Land of Scientism,
We’ve got knowledge…We’ve got smarts!
Wisdom though’s another issue…
As we stumble in the dark.

Science leaves us here befuddled,
Still our Faith in Her is strong!
She’s an Idol we believe in,
‘Cause She swears the Bible’s wrong.

She’s a dead-end Reason stopper,
But,…oh well, man,… C’est la vie!
It’s the “new truth” that we worship…
And She’s come to set us free!

We adore our Humanism,
It’s The Faith we’ve come to love.
There’s no sin it cannot conquer,
Nothing we can’t rise above.

With the Hadron we’ve collided…
Contradiction’s on our side!
Never Mind!... Yes, we’re committed!
Since our brains we’ve deified!

“Contradiction”?....Not a problem!
Up is down and in is out…
It’s the New Age “hip” religion…
Man, it’s what life’s all about!

We’ve got Facts and we’ve got Figures…
”Fundamentals” that don’t lie!
Common sense we must abandon…
Logic here no longer flies!

Follow us, friend…Find fulfillment!
Senselessness we must expect!
Yes! Bow down right here and worship,
Blessed be The Most High-Tech!

Lord, come quickly!….Heal the blindness!
Give us Grace to help us see!
Take away the mindless darkness…
Light the Way to Calvary!

“This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.”
—John 3: 19-21

“So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.”
—Luke 11: 9-10
